I sent passport on Jan 12. Expected delivery is Jan 16 but showed out for delivery on Jan 13. I just checked and it's still out for delivery. Not sure if this is normal.

Same is mine...i sent my passport on Jan 11 expected delivery date was Jan 13...since last sat it is showing 'Out for delivery' and expected delivery date is still Jan 13. I raised a ticket with canada post today morning, no changes so far...

Same here, exactly the same Issue. But it sounds like this is something that happens frequently.

Just finish up my experience: Received PPR yesterday! The immigration office called me back yesterday, told me they have send PPR to me on Dec19, 2016, however, for some reason I checked my email including trash, never received. So they send it to me again right after hung up the phone. Although one month delayed, but all good now Thanks for everyone's help here.

It happened to me too. Good thing i called iRCC Dec 23 and found out they already sent my PPR dec. 19.
They sent to the wrong email address.

Had the same issue last week. Sent an email to CPC ottawa and finally got a response today that my passport was received but canada post tracker still shows out for delivery since Jan 9th. Also my application was approved and closed today so all is well. If you feel unsure just send an email to CPC ottawa.

I'll give it until Friday and will email Ottawa if the status doesn't change. Thanks for the advise!

finally got the pp back... DM around Dec 14 and send pp on Dec 28.. canada post shows Dec 30 delivered to Ottawa.. got back yesterday Jan 16.. gonna leave one month and will do landing when coming back from trip..

thanks so much for every shares here throughout the long waits and spent those boring processing hours with each other... good luck to everyone no matter what status you are being now.. best wish in the future everyday..

I spoke to Canad Post today, right after i gave destination postal code. The lady said your mail was already delivered on Jan 13th and this is large volume delivery. That means we deliver few hundreds of mail to the same location, most of the times we do not scan at the point of delivery. Due to which you have last tracking where it says out for delivery.

I am pleased with her logical answer. Now its wait time for the return tracker to get activated.

I did flagpoling Saturday Jan 14. Climax MT turner border, it is just a small border port, nothing there but me lol
I walk Thru USA window after I parked my Vehicle just 10 steps away from their office, Officer asked for my passport then he just told me to get in the small door. seat and wait, less that 10 mins NO questions NOTHING, he gave me back my passport and walked me on the other side of the office which is Canada side.
Since it not a busy port, 4 nice and good looking officers assisted me, like, one explaining this and that, one is checking my papers, one is photocopying and one is just a bubbly goofing around lol NO QUESTIONs NOTHING DIDNT ask for anything.. I gave them all my papers anyway included my salary Cert so that's why maybe didn't asked me anything.

10 mins Canada side done, I really wanted to stay longer coz I want to relax a bit before driving back again which was soooo boring!!! but it only took not even 20 mins to finish everything, Oh man no choice but hit the never ending highway lol

Thats all.. quick nice and easy.. plus weather was good.
