Hi, how to link my application to MyCIC account? How to register? Thanks

1. Create an account on cic if you haven't done it already. Simply google "cic login" and register one.
(Make sure you record the security answers and passwords as it go, many including myself have forgotten their answers afterwards)

2. Once you've created the account, login and select blue button "Link application to this account" > Category (Permanent Residence) > Sub-Category(Provincial Nominee Program)

3. Select the information combination that you feel most confident with the ones that you've turned in (this best helps if you made a photocopy of your application before you turned it in), enter city and country of birth, or passport information.

Step 3 might require a few tries (5), so don't worry if you mess it up because you can always try again the next day but be clearer as you go and don't give up. Hint: you can always open a new account if you got locked out with one account

Click blue button "Search for my application"

Best of luck and I hope you've made a photocopy of your application, that would make things way easier!

page 115-116 of this thread

Is it good idea to connect application with my CIC?
If we connect, still we will get email from CIC or LOCAL VISA OFFICE For further requirement like medical, rprf, passports request, pcc etc?.

Or we have to use My CIC for further communication?
Should we will get information from three side - email and MYCIC and ECAS

Is there any disadvantage of linking application to MYCIC?
Because it is mentioned on CIC as below
"Once your application is linked, you will receive messages about your application through your account. You will no longer receive letters about your application by mail."

What's that mean? They telling about mail or email.

Anybody hit the "View submitted application" button?

Did you proceed to sign the "Your Declaration and Electronic Signature" section?

Oh yes I did that...for kicks. I'm not sure if that does anything for me. I was hoping that will show me something more but turned out it didn't show me a thing.

Thank you

Its a good idea to link your ECAS to my cic, infact you will see a complex profile about your application, but what i observed is that 90% find it difficult to link, including me, have registered for Gkey, got username and password, but anytime i tried to link, its telling me not found, i changed ielts to 0000, still no show i saw in dis forum, an applicant that applied for nomination, not even CIC claims that he too linked his own, so pls guys are you sure this thing is real,
