My husband and I got our BOWPs last year in May and they are about to expire on May 18th 2018.
We got our MRs on December 19th and I am not convinced we will have our PRs by May...


Will you guys be extending your work permits if by the end of their validity you don't have PR or will you continue to work in implied status while waiting for the decision? Also, the thing is my husband is a trucker and crosses the US border daily... So I guess it's inevitable for us.

i think you should be ready to apply atleast1 month b4 exp. im a july 6 applicant wp exp may 4 and still ready to apply for bowp cic is really unpredictable

I will for sure do it sooner than that.
As for you - I believe you will get PR before May. Good to be prepared anyway.

It depends . Generally ppl are getting ppr within 18 months.so if you are around 17-19 months , you are near to get ppr

Im oct 2016 cic applicant. And i received my visa last oct 2017. I did not expect that but God is so great and hopefully before Feb we will land.

Im saying this to let you know that there are cases which is different from others and might happen to you too.

We met an applicant during medical, after a month she received her ppr and less than a week visa on hand. Now, she's already working in manitoba.

Just be patient and hopeful... That's the only thing you can do aside from praying! God bless.

Are you inland?? I am sure you won’t get your Pr before end of March or first week of April . So be prepared , don’t have that kind of expectation if you are inland applicant
