Applied for cic on basis of AINP INLAND Novemberv 14 2016 , file number February 1 2017 and rprf request march 18 2017. No updates after that. Is there any one who has similar timeline got medical already? or have any friend or anyone who got medical request. This wait and delay in processing paper based file is killing everyone.

Hey, everybody. Just noticed some weird activity on my CIC account. June 3d applicant AINP. With dependant. I had my medical request on June 7 and did my exams right away, so shorty after that my medical exam status on my account changed to passed. And it stayed passed all the time. But this week it changed to in process again/..... The Back ground check is still N/A

Does anybody experiencing the same??
I hope it is just clerck's mistake when he wanted to change my back ground check to in process but clicked on the wrong line on the screen. .....

Does anyone know how many days it takes for passport to come back since you sent after PPR?

I am still waiting for DM but travelling to abroad in early Dec so asking.

According to the processing time on the CIC website, they are taking 20 business days excluding mailing time. From what I read in this forum, that timeframe is quite accurate from the people who sent and received their passport back.

I have been reading every single reply for quite some time and they are no words of how much I appreciate the support and love from everyone in this forum. We have been on the same pain of waiting, getting our hopes high and then CIC crushing our hopes. We have endure together even though we have never met. You guys are the few people who understand and lived the same constant feeling of having to put your life on hold.

To everybody, I want to say thank you. Even though we come from different backgrounds and beliefs, we have one dream, the Canadian dream. I wanna tell you that this dream is worth all the sleepless nights waiting, all the feelings from seeing other people getting PR faster, all the terrible days of sticking into a horrible job, all the constant anxiety and depression, and the crushed goals we had for the future. This waiting is worth it because it will make you a stronger, patient human being.

Don't have faith in the system, but have faith in you that you can overcome this. Just keep going, keep emailing CIC, keep calling them. You are doing the best you can and you're going to be okay. I know the waiting is agonizing but this is only going to be temporary. This waiting state that you are won't last forever. There will be one day that you will get your PR and you will be proud of what you overcame this. You will love and appreciate more of this country that one day we will call it home.

Just keep going.

Same here bro .may 16... everyday is a silent day... checking email every hour... every morning wake up with a hope that will get something today but... don’t know what r they doing so frustrated....

Our dear PM has promised to increase funding to enhance CIC efficiency and maybe he did, but who knows how the funding works actually. Probably it's all used to support the trucks of "immigrants" sent from US border rather than increase the salary to the officers who are processing our files...That's why we are way behind. Processing our files is a pretty big load. If the officers don't get the salary they deserve, who has the incentive to be more efficient.
