Any may applicant get ppr?? Or still bg in process only... mine is bg in process still it’s been almost 2 weeks

Most of the April applicants were stuck in BG process for 1-2 months and still yet to receive PPR. You are May applicant and have only waited for almost 2 weeks ...

I just called CIC and the agent told me my application has already approved. She said I will get letter anytime or next week. Thanks God . Just need to wait for the PPR letter. Hope all April application get approved within next week.

Mine same, assessments are all complete, file is in queue for final review, but there is a chance that it may take a couple of months for this process to occur.

haha I just made a call too. Final review... The agent said she will send a note to the officer since my application has passed 16 months. Is this a standard response? Should I have hope?

Yes its a standard response i got the same answer a month back... they just dont know any thing...

PS is Pre-Selection or Pre-screen, which means more assessment needed, probably your security since it hasn't started yet.

I just received the email from CPC Ottawa, they said my file is being processing in their office but not sure when for finalization. What does it mean in CPC office , final stage ?

To me they told my file in Sydney office. But everything is done for my file. Then what is this for some it is in Ottawa and for some in Sydney?

I maybe wrong but Ottawa may mean the centralized office where applications would go for final review. But Ottawa can also be the Regional office like Sydney if you are from Ontario.

Does anyone has the experience of expiring the work permit before getting the PR? If that happened, would it affect the result?

You have to extend your work permit. You have to maintain your status all the times while your processing is going on otherwise it will affect the PR application.
