U can run the both of them concurrently. U do not have to inform CIC. U are not breaking any laws, its allowed. DO NOT withdraw ur pnp until u get approved. Whichever one gets approved first is the one u withdraw. I have seen pple on other forums do that. Best of luck Ryan126.

Application recieved: june 30,2016
MR: October 2017
MR of my family which is based here already: December 2017
ECAS: not updated, medical wasnt even shown that it was recieved
BG/Security check not even started
All my batchmates gotten their ppr already and im afraid im the only one left behind. Im also worried that our papers was also not reviewing by any officer as of the moment

13th June Applicant, still waiting. In BG since Dec, 1st. No updates since then

Thats bad. Keep checking your CIC account then for updates if they sent email to wrong one last time. Yep, good luck to you

Is this BC PNP? Can i ask which country are you from? Mine is received on June 7th, BG since Oct 23rd.
When did you start background checking?
Have you applied GCMS notes? what is the status on there if you did?

Sorry, I have too many question, it's been 20 months already, drive me crazy!!
