Hi guys, im holding a open work permit, and I need to renew my visa, my question is :
1.Although I choose im in canada right now and cic asked me to submit the form Application for Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa) Made Outside of Canada (IMM5257) (required).
2 I have done MR with my pr application and they asked me to submit a Proof of medical exam (required), is it normal? Can I request it from my doctor?

yeah everything is normal even you are inside canada they still ask you to submit outsode canada TRV..and doctors always give a copy of Medical if you dont have you can definitely request for one..goodluck!..

What is the current processing time for the passport stamping after PPR?
How many days passport takes to return after stamping?
Is there any way to speed up the process?

Yes it says “we are processing your background check” when I listen to my application status... hopefully same for others who’s bg in process...

Thnx. Mine doesnt clearly say that. It says security is being checked. And capl centre agent said BG check is in process. I am ok with the wiat. At least they should give some kind of vlwar information and a date

Just received PPR. May 26 applicant. BG changed to IP a 3-4 days ago. Got DM on ECAS on Saturday.

How to check if I have passed my medical? I dont have my application linked to my cic account. All I can see is "Medical report has been received". Test was on 8th of Sept.

Not sure how long it takes to get my passports back.
Do you guys know how soon should I expect my passports back when we submit them? How long will it take to land? I know it can be done in Calgary downtown, but it's there a queue?

Also, I'm thinking to ask for a refund for my work permit extention since i just asked for the bridge wp and the application is soon in progress. I might need to wait until I land before request for a refund
