I would advice anyone waiting for medicals to do upfront medicals in my case I did upfront and I'm may applicant now I got my PPR with 12months not even up to 12months.

Do upfront medicals won't affect our application , it will make the process faster .

Again if you don't feel like doing it you don't have to but if you do it you will thank me later.

I agree, there are some doctors who won't let you do upfront medicals. They only allow when you have a medical request from IRCC.

Is there someone in this group from Alberta/Calgary area who know of doctors who can do upfront medicals?? I am a May 18 applicant and ideally should be getting my MR request in about 3 weeks. But since April applicants are getting delayed, this might delay mine too and so if doing upfront medicals saves time, I'd rather do that.

me too !!! a week later applicant . I am also thinking ot do it starting of this month . if anyone is proceeding upfront in Edmonton please let me know.
