I believe that most of the April applicants waiting here have dependents on their application. Some of my friends who were also April applicants and who got their PPR in March were single applicants.

Mishti you've a point, my friend who is an april applicant annd single got his PPR last month

There is a BSL office on Scott Road that deals with Indian passports. I plan to go there this weekend when I visit my uncle. Maybe on Monday.

Hmm..more the number of people on the application, longer the process of verification. More so if the other people on your application are outside Canada.
But hopefully they will start moving with the applications next week I guess.

You don't have to worry about visa stamping. Whenever you get the PPR just send an email back to them that your dependent will be getting thier stamping done from vfs New delhi visa office. Even you can print the same email and get the stamping done from overseas. I was in the USA and I did the same my visa office was ottawa and I went back to India and get my passport stamped from India.

Thanks a lot Naik13! That sounds wonderful . Will give it a try!

I am april 30th sask applicant. I am taking two weeks off from work, going on a road trip. Hoepfully meanwhile we can get some positive results. I am getting real tired of this thing now.

Hi naik,
Does New Delhi Visa office consider the print out of the mail send by Ottawa?
