I'm a little confused.

Our PNP PR Application was being processed by CPC - Sydney. Now PPR is asking us to send the Passport to CPC - Ottawa for Visa Stamping. Is this the regular process or issue there any issues?

All visa stamping is done @ottawa.

Man. I cannot imagine what you are going through. I think u and my friend have the worst experience. I wont ask you if you called cic because they are useless. You should have contacted your local MP.

I think you should wait for your GCMS notes and see what's going on there...You can probably easily figure out what's going on with your profile from there.

I'm over 14 months now myself, and the issue with my profile is that I'm waiting for security screening to be completed. I read a lot about it on different forums and it seems that if you have lived in more than one country (aside from your birth country), which is true in my case, chances are that you might have to wait for a long in depth background screening!!!!
It looks like that CIC doesn't account for these cases for calculating the average time.

My ECAS has been updated today. Now it shows some more lines in the status page which are correspondences with CIC. So, anyone can give me answers to :

1- Is it a good sign?
2- How long does it take from this type of updates till passport request?

I am July 2014 applicant and my application is in process since May 1st.

1. Yes, for many applicants the line updates increase before decision stage.

Hopefully this will be the end of your wait for this painful process. I'm July applicant as well, and in process for more than 5 months now...

I just had a question about your GCMS notes, could you figure out what was the cause of long waiting time for your profile? Did you have security sub activity in your notes by any chance? or did you add a second person to your application?

Can you fill up the details on your profile. Under which stream did you apply? Is your application inland or outland?

Reason for more line is ECAS status is CIC have updated there system for reporting. Earlier they were showing only main activities like medical received, in process. document requested.

Try changing your address online on their website. That speeds up the application I suspect.
