hey guys, quick question How long is the immigration visa validity CIC stamps for the landing? 3 or 6 months? Is there same expiry dates for both primary applicant and dependents? thanks

sorry i didn't get it, my medical is expiring on august 20th and my spouse's on oct 7th. i am the primary applicant and have not received PPR yet. How will it work for us, any guesses?

I don't know to be honest. We know that in cases where the processing of application extends one year after medical exams, the applicants are asked to do the medicals again. In your case tho, the processing of application has finished so maybe they extend the validity of your medical exams?

On the CIC website it says, if the validity of your permanent resident visa is two months or less, you can get urgent processing by getting an earlier appointment for landing at a cic office. If you decide to land by going to the States border, you don't really need a lot of validity for your visa really (depending on how close you are to the border and how much planning you need to have ahead of your trip)

In my case the immigrant visas are valid one year from the date of my medicals (PA) although my dependents completed their medicals a good 6 weeks after me.

Question for those who sent their PPR - we are supposed to fill a bio data form.. All it asks is for name, height and eye color. Is there all to a bio data. Just want to check i havent missed out any part of the email or attachment.

thanks for the replies guys, im am planning a trip in november back home, idk how its gonna work out, no ppr yet. prolly have to apply for urgent PR Card processing or land on the way back if i get enough immigration visa to do that way.

Why CIC New Delhi Visa Office taking too much to send Medical letter to MPNP PR application? I am june 2014 applicant from India. I got a phone call at my office from New Delhi visa office on 28 april, after that no updates till now.
How much time NDVO take for background check and sending medical letter?

If they require you recent photos, then send that too, otherwise, you're all good. just don't forget to send a copy of the PPR email request, maybe an introductory letter stating your application number or UCI number and what is included in your package and of course your passport.

quick question on the ppr - seems that ppr email is being sent out usually late evening..around 5-6 pm and after ..is that correct?...it seemed that way to me but correct me if i am wrong...dm on june 17 and waiting...

I am May 28, 2014 applicant and my file is still IP!!!
