Hello Guys,

Congratulations to everyone who got PR last week. I have one question, hope someone can help.

I heard that some get MR from Nova Scotia and some get MR from Ottawa. Why is that? One whose file is in Nova Scotia will have late PR as his/her file is to be transferred to Ottawa? I called CIC and the agent told me timeline for PR is 17 months when your file is in Ottawa. Any idea?
