Hey guys, thanks to all.
I just have question for anyone who knows
im an ontario pnp pilot masters grad stream nominee..had applied for PR..and recently got my file number after a long wait.
i am currently on a closed permit.. i had thought that i can apply for an open work permit once i get a file number - is that true?
my current closed permit is however still valid for 13 months more, but i have to change jobs

would appreciate any inputs

To apply for BOWP your current work permit should be expiring in 4 months.

Since your current WP is valid for 13 months you wont be eligible for BOWP.

1. mid september...and the file no. was just a week ago
2. 13 months ...which is so unfortunate, i guess..oh well

To apply for BOWP your current work permit should be expiring in 4 months.

Since your current WP is valid for 13 months you wont be eligible for BOWP.

i just have one more question, would appreciate any inputs -
i received file number on my PR application, applied through O-PNP (masters grad)
apart from file number, nothing else...i only got my f.n. 8-9 days ago...havent yet received MR

so my question is, if i leave canada now and stay outside of canada for a considerable duration, does it impact my PR application?
i am told that medical tests can be done outside of canada from CIC approved medical centres - would you agree?
so if i leave, i want to know if my PR application is hampered in any way? if it is, can you please tell me how and when?

I am about to submit my PNP application to Opp Ontario. I just have a minor question. There is a field which asks "Have you already applied for PR with CIC?" Yes/No. If Yes, CIC File # and other details are asked. I had sent my application last year under CEC but it got returned as quota was full even before my application reached. So it got returned even without being opened. Later I filled up the EE profile and updated Job bank.
Now Do I say Yes or No? Cuz currently I dont have any application for PR under processing! Also I only SENT the application but it was neither opened nor was an AOR or CIC file # given... Help appreciated

As I understand, the answer is NO. Basically, your application wasn't in there system yet. In the other hand, you don't have file number for your previous application.

on Feb 19th. Yes OPNP without job offer
