I am a Master's graduate from ON.

According to the bulletin you are eligible to apply for BOWP as a master's student from ON.

Hi,

I have two applications in process for PR. One each under AINP & CEC.

CIC updated the medicals on Ecas after I send them an email and it took them about 45 days to respond.

45 Days, I also sent an email to them but did not get any reply on the same, it is 32nd day is going on. I think they are too busy or too lazy

Yes, I know I am eligible for BOWP, I also have the letter of support from OPNP also for the BOWP of 18 months.
BUT, the problem is that 1st bulletin doesn't say if I need an AoR or positive eligibility decision. However, the 2nd bulletin link I pasted mentions that applicant needs an AoR or positive eligibility.

What if I don't get my AoR before my existing WP expires? How will I apply for BOWP? As you all know, CIC is doing some QA exercise for OPNP applicants. My file reached CIO on Aug 18th, and my WP expires on Nov 19th.

You can apply with a support letter and your certificate from Ontario PNP even without AOR. The only problem is that your work permit might take a long time to be issued since the whole Ontario PNP mess, but at least you will be able to apply before your current WP expires and you'll go into implied status. Are you in the Master/PhD graduate without job offer stream?. A friend was in a similar situation and was able to apply for the work permit without AOR.

If you're still not sure, I suggest you give CIC a call.

Does this apply to International student with job offer category? or it is only for Masters graduates? I didn't take a Masters course.

Did u guys send email to CIO? what was the response...
I think we may not get aor this year... It will probably be 17 months, that's why they have it on website. And all the QA rumour, I feel it was deliberately spread to cover up something.

QA is not a rumor, the officers who's calling told ON applicants they are processing QA.

my application was received on 25th may.
I haven't received anything from CIO.

few days ago i got a reply to my query to cio from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

CIC has charged my card, last Friday still I'm waiting for their response.
Can anybody pls share his Experience. How much time usually they take after getting payment for Aor/Medicals ??
