hi I received my File number and medicals today.

I sent my application on june 4th and cic sydney received on june 6th

I applied under sinp.

This wait sucks man. I seriously don't know what is wrong with Ontario PNP processing. My file was received by CIC Sydney on 19th May and still there has been no update. >:(

what if certificate of PNP expires during this wait?

The nomination certificate should be valid at the the time CIC receives your application.

android: i understand your frustration. i am in the same boat. Submitted on 20th may. Looks like ontario applicants are on lower priority than applicants of all other provinces and those from rest of the world including bermuda triangle. I have seen applicants applying from outside canada getting aor faster. i guess there is nothing one could do but wait.

This is for people who are still waiting for AOR just as I am:

I called up CIC Call center to check about the status of our files but unfortunately they donot have any information about it.
The only thing that could be done is writing an email to CIO which I am sure most of us did. There is nothing much that we can do but wait and keep inquiring.

:(

cannon: i called too and got the same response. cic cannot do anything unless they receive the file. And there is no contact number for sydney. I am curious what could be the reason for the delay for ontario applicants. This should not be ON specific because we already have the ON pnp. Now it should be treated just as equally as any other region. Is the entire team responsible for ON on vacation or just too many applicants on ON queue.

i dnt kno wats the reasom guy applied on 13 may got his aor where as guy applied on 14 may still waiting

Hello Shuki,

Are you already on the spreadsheet? Also could you please also advise your province of nomination & your nationality?

You also have another application in progress under CEC.

I filed my CEC application on July 13th and waiting for AOR.

Looks like I am not on the spreadsheet yet... (only on the CEC one).
Can you please an entry for me?
I am a BC PNP nominee, Nationality - Poland
Application paid with CC.

Good luck to both of us with the dual application.
I wonder which one will have a decision made first...

Going by the trend I am assuming both the classes are having identical processing time. However I had seen some PNP applicants getting PR within 7 months last year.

With CEC coming to an end in the present format by December 2014 maybe we can expect CEC applications getting processed faster.

Keeping my fingers crossed and Good luck to both of us for our dual applications.
