a quick question on medical, When we done medical and we got a reciept and e-medical form from Dr, Do we need to sent that to CIC. Dr. is using internet enabled facility. do I need to sent any information after medical to CIC.

No you don't have to. The clinic will send it to CIC for you. Your status will be updated within two weeks and it will show as medical received.

so now most of us have gotten the AOR and med request, some of us have gotten the med done and received, what's next guy?

I applied for my BOWP on August 1st. I think from now on we just need to wait and see how fast/slow CIC processes our applications.

I'm looking through the tracking sheet of people who applied before us and it seems to take another 4-5 months for it to turn to IP. I hope it will happen before the end of December.

This is for people who are still waiting for AOR just as I am:

I called up CIC Call center to check about the status of our files but unfortunately they donot have any information about it.
The only thing that could be done is writing an email to CIO which I am sure most of us did. There is nothing much that we can do but wait and keep inquiring.

my friend got her file number and medical request just now AUG 5 2014. she submitted her file June 6 2014 then CIO-NS received it june 9 2014.

Medical results have been received.

did test last wednesday and checked the status today it shows received, and click on received it shows:
1: file received
2: medi received.

But haven't called doctor to confirm yet.

Congrats Qi. I also did my medicals on July 30th but it has not been updated as yet. My family was also issued requests for medical exams although they had undergone medicals in April 2014 for open work permit & study permits.

My family did go for the medicals (in India) but the panel doctor refused to take the medical examination as they had undergone medicals less then 12 months ago and said that they had instruction from CHC New Delhi to not to conduct medical exams in such cases.

I hope CIC will be able to look into this once my medicals are ready to be posted.
