I called twice, the first one was a man, he told he couldnt go through my file unless 17 months, the second one was a nice lady, she asked me a lot of information and told me congrats my case is passed...ppr email will send soon...but I wait another week, nothing heard..((((((((((( really really annoying.. everyday's waiting is torturing me!!!

I think you're fine given bunch of people have the same problem...

Hi all,

I've received my passport today and planning to drive to the border (ogdensburg) to see if I can finish the process tonight. Is there anything else I need to bring in addition to the files came in the mail ( haven't opened the mail yet, thus no idea what's in there)?

NO just the contents of the envelope. I did it at ogdensburg as well. Took 5/10 min.

I think Me, gildeh and Shareview are remaining in our unlucky batch. We are still on IP for past 15 days. This wait is getting on my nerves now.

me too. Im june 2014 applicant. My file in process from 2th april 2015. After 66 days mine status is same in process. Dont know what they are doing confusing????

have u called cic recently?anyone who got DM on mid of may waiting PPR called cic lately?i called last week and the answer was 16 month is the waiting time so cant go through files.

Hey gopsgrg, yes I did, called 3 times last and then today same answer 16,17 months processing Time, u have to Waite. I don't know whats the point of waiting if the file is approved????? :'(

Guys, How long is it taking for passports to get stamped and retuned back? I am stuck in a weird situation :/

I received my PPR and sent them my passport (My spouse is in India) along with an explanation letter. I also replied back to PPR email. My passport reached Ottawa on June 1st, and on June 2nd, i got an email stating that my visa office has been changed to New Delhi, India, and now i need to submit my and my spouse's passport there.

Now i am tense about whether my visa will get stamped or not, and on the other hand, the clock has started to tick for my wife as well, who needs to submit her passport within 30 days. She can't do that without my copy of passport which shows my visa stamped on it. (Yes- you can do that. One can have their passport stamped here and then send a copy of the passport with an explanation letter to the consulate in India explaining the situation).

Just called CIC, the agent said she couldn't find what my DM is, positive or negative. She also told me that my file is still in Sydney!!! :'( :'( :'(

CIC really make people confuse! one said my file is still in Sydney, another one said only Ottawa can make decision (which means my file in in Ottawa already)
OK, I just wait then!

Why life is so unfair? I have been waiting for PPR, and it's been 3 weeks now since IP, but haven't heard anything yet. I have a planned trip on July 20th, and initially I thought I will get a PR card before leaving, then I lower my expectations to do the landing when return and now I just hope that I will get my CoPR before leaving. Worst feeling is to get a PPR 3 weeks ahead of travelling, which is gonna make so confuse either to send my passport to Ottawa or just keep it till coming back.

I know i can extend the date, but I have a dependent back home and it gonna be a bit messy when I will face this situation.

I will be sending our passports on Monday as we have a planned trip to the US this weekend.
