Then your gcms notes should say about when your file got transferred to ottawa. Check the paper file history and plz let us know the date when your file got transferred to ottawa

Call centre agent told me that my file was transferred on 14th April 2014 to Ottawa

First time ! I was in one unlucky batch who got their medical after 11 months. But one a brighter side, maybe they have already finish the Background and Criminal checks for us.

Judging by a few other posts, the next steps would be passport request.
However they just started criminality and background checks in April. I would guess that just these two would take a couple of months optimistically. Then provided they dont need any additional info, we will be put in "In Process" followed by PPR within a few weeks of that.

Hi, I am OPNP applicant. My PR application is for my spouse and I. But ECAS shows only my name.
how can I confirm if my spouse's application is also in process?

if you are the principle applicant then you will be able to see yours only.your spouse is dependent so you wont be able to see anything abt her.

I was just wondering if anyone applied for work permit extension under new rules. Wondering where the employer have to submit the offer of employment form or applicant is submitting offer of employment with the application? I am so confused ???

Call centre agent told me that my file was transferred on 14th April 2014 to Ottawa

It is surprising to see that there is no consistency on when file gets transferred to Ottawa or not...One of my friend's file is still in Sydney and his timeline is extactly same as yours, and his status is IN PROCESS from last week. My application was received after a week than yours, and it is still in Sydney and was asked for RPRF yesterday ( from sydney). Its very confusing, and I believe that Sydney and Ottawa share the application load and processing can happen at any of the location, not necessarily Ottawa.

But then other than the payment receipt which shows $1100 has been paid, there is no proof under my spouse's name that his application is under process.
Is there a way to get confirmation? any idea?

The best way would be to call CIC call centre and verify the info. Or you can also request for GCMS notes, but it takes a month to come to you after you request . Hope it helps.

do you have doubt that you dint fill up the PR app form for your spouse or what?if you filled up all the required information then your spouse is your dependent so when you get your medical request then you will be getting for your spouse aswell.if your file is under proces that means your spouse is under process .you and your wife is under one file.if you want to satisfy yourself then call cic thats the only way .
