CIC laws are dynamic. I will suggest you get a copy of the checklist and read or click on the section of pay your fees.

Hey guys. CIO received my file on April 4th 2014 but I haven't got any AOR yet. I'm not sure if they opened up my file yet or not. It's been 3 months now and I have already sent them an email but no reply yet. What should I do?

Hello,

What was your mode of payment for the fees? Did you enclose the fee payment form with a credit card? As any with other mode of payment there is no certain way to tell that CIC received your application other than the acknowledgement from the courier company that your package was delivered.

I attached the bank draft with my application. And I tracked down my package nd is showing they have received it on April 4th 2014. I sent it on march 27th 2014

Did you check with the issuing bank when CIC encashed the draft? Once it is confirmed you should call CIO Nova Scotia. I believe they have listed a number on the website for communication.
