PNP PR APPLICATION JUNE 2014

Dear Forum-mates....

In format column for Document Checklist (Permanent Residence - PNP), it showed "Copy", "Copies" & "Copies, unless otherwise stated" for documents required in items #9, #11, #12, #13 & #14.

My question is, do we just submit a "photo copy" without "notary" or "certified thru copy"?

Are people without the QA calls getting the AoR? Few of the people I know got the AoR, though they had applied after me but got the QA call in November. My application was received in late May and I'm still waiting for the AoR.

There are a bunch of us with QA call and no AOR. i am one of them with app on may.

I have a question regarding the work permit extensions. I got Ontario PNP in Sep 2014 and applied for PR in Nov 2014. And as you guys can guess, I do not have my AOR. Well, the problem is my open work permit expires in May 2015 and I was looking for some options for the WP extension. I do not want to wait till April and then think about applying for the extension. If I want to apply now, with PNP and without AOR, what are the options that I have. Please let me know.

you can apply for open workpermit on february ,cic says you can apply for workpermit extention or open workpermit within 4 months of current workpermit expires.if you want to know more then there are lot of discussion on forum about workmpermit extention.check it .

Thanks gopsgrg. So it is possible to get the open work permit extended with the PNP certificate and without AOR. Thats good to know.

exactly yaar. no ray of hope. we are being happy for getting AOR, but getting PR is a long process. AOR is just the beginning. don't know how many hurdles we all have to cross. Canadian Immigration system sucks. No wonder why Canada could not become world super power. Because Canadians are big cheats. They took huge fee for OPNP and no special treatment for us. Instead we are treated as fraud people. If we are given normal procedure then they should not charge heavy fee. I will see their processing till mid year otherwise going back to home. Don't want to spoil my talent, time and money in this bullshit country.

Hi All,

Firstly congratulations to all those who got their AORs.

My husband is in Canada on open work permit which is valid till May 15th 2015. He is working for a private firm as a PM. He has applied for PR on PNP-Masters category at Novoscotia(Ontario). His PNP will expire on March 15th 2015. He has not received the AOR yet.

Now what are the possibilities and options for applying WP extension? As said in the previous posts of this thread, we have tried for an extension letter from Oppurtunites ontario but they havent helped in this regard. They said they will not be providing any extension letter and PNP certificate should be sufficient. So, can he apply for WP extension with PNP certificate? Or does he need any other?

Also, Is that so that he will receive a closed wp in above case?

I am in India and planning to move to canada, hopefully in march on visitor visa.
In the above case if in case my husband gets a closed WP, will I be eligible to apply for a WP after reaching canada?

Please help.
