A huge MISTAKE...
Try to contact operational supportingg office in ottawa or call cic directly...inland means you r inside canada and out means OUT...

so call them and explain otherwise , your pr ll take years to bring it back to process

I just called CIC call centre and the agent told me that CIO office decide where to send the application. Could you please let me know what visa office did you mention in your application? Do you mention Ottawa/Sydney or any other visa office outside of Canada?

i dont understand your case well..
anyways, i have wriiten the visa office near my provincial border here at SK..so that will be the border i ll go to...
secondly, when CIO decides to send your application to outside the province, it is upto you to decide, not to them... also, that process is called: "application transmitted" and it happens when your get your AOR, UCI and file number, and medical...then the next step is to transmit your application to visa office outside canada, it can b a border crossing as well...i m not sure, but i think you didnt get your AOr and uci yet, so how come it is transmitted...check ppl profile here you ll understand what i mean

Actually I have my AOR and medical request too. Do you know if I can request now to transfer my application to a visa office in Canada? I'm planning to email CIO asking for that.

you cant email them directly...try to call the center first, the call agent ll email to the officer responsible fr your file...and if no, then he/she can guide you what to do...may b in application you hv written ..outside canada, that is the reason, if you hv a copy of your file, check it what you hv written
