When your UCI was generated, did you pass the Medicals too?

Mine was:

August 13- UCI generated; the status of my medical was "We are reviewing the result of your medical exam" and my BG says "You application is in progress. We will contact you when we start your background check". Other status were the same.

August 20- Medical status was the same. However, BG changed to "Not Applicable"

@legalfalcon, Is having a UCI indicates that my file is now being reviewed by a case officer?

If you have never filed an application with IRCC before, you will be issued a new UCI, which would depict that your application has begun processing.

My BG status says from "You application is in progress. We will contact you when we start your background check" to "Not Applicable". Does this mean I am headed to Eligibility checks already even though I didn't pass my medicals yet?

FYI, I have declared a mild condition during my upfront medicals and I am not sure if this is the reason of my current Medical status (we are reviewing the result of your med.exam). -> this status and my UCI was generated last week and as of this writing, there is no ADR / further medical check-up whatsoever

Hi ILoveMaple21, I believe you will get MEP soon. I had similar situation like you last week, while my BG status was "You application is in progress." but my medical didn't pass, and after one week, I got medical passed and at the same day BG status changed to "Not Applicable". So I believe your MEP will come soon. Don't worry, I heard several cases that geting BGIP before MEP these days, so it is normal, just wait for a few days. Good luck.

I am waiting for BG status to change from NA to IP2. I saw your timeline is waiting for IP2 too, any idea how long will it take for PNP-outland applications from NA to IP2? Thanks.

It seems Feb applicants are moving to IP2 and PPR finally!!

I think they can play around with the 80%/6 months commitment. If you look at this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=673&top=29
they say 6 months for COMPLETE application.

I remember reading on another IRCC page, cannot find it now, that the 6 months is after R10 completeness check. Since my medicals took over 3 months and I assume that is when R10 got done, that means for them to meet 6 months for me they have 9 months.

I do hope that at the very least all people from this topic will be within those 80%/6 months.

PNP outlanders have not seen movement in their files for quite sometime. Last update is for Feb 27 AOR and complete silence since then.

Request all PNP outland applicants to share time lines, updates if any to status- either medical, background check, additional addocuments if any on this thread.

Medical statuses for pnp are now back to normal. However ppr are not coming as expected. Don't know what are they doing sitting on our files like this.

I am still awaiting any update on medicals, crossed over a month now.
