I am wondering about claiming Employment Insurance benefit while PNP Ontario application is under progress.
I have applied PNP Ontario on May first week as a International Master's Graduate stream. My contract as a Research Assistant got terminated on end of May. I am thinking to apply for EI, for which I find myself eligible. However, I am not sure what would be the impact of EI in PNP application. In PNP application, we gotta show some savings/fund and one of my fren suggested me not to apply for EI as it contradicts with the documents showing my savings in PNP application. Please anyone, help me on this regard, whether EI claim will screw up my PNP application or not.
