Hi Friends,

I came to Canada on OINP in April 2018, and was staying in Ontario since then til May 2021. After more than 3 years now, I moved to BC to be with my sister.
I'm now eligible for citizenship and wanted to ask is this going to impact on my citizenship application?
Also, do I need to inform CIC or anyone else about my move from Ontario to BC?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Landed immigrants have the right to move anywhere within the country.
I haven't heard of any case where this has impacted citizenship.

Any idea if I need to inform CIC about the move? As I heard they track the PNP immigrants status.

No, I do not think you need to notify. I moved as well. CIC has everything to check if they want too. I am a PNP applicant. I received my test invite. All the best.
