Hi friends
All candidates who have PNP are not getting 600 points right away.
My friend who lives in Alberta with a PNP got only 60 points for that section.

Well this just another computer glitch by CIC if so, it's clearly stated in the CRS that pnp= 600 points

That's a non sequitur, I have no doubt you're telling the truth and it may have happened to many people but if so it's a computer error under the new system. There have been several of these already, eg ITAs issued for FSW in error and then withdrawn

I don't think Alberta has opened any Express Entry specific stream yet for their PNP program. So if you are getting nominated by Alberta - you cannot get the 600 points. So your friend has to either apply outside of EE (which is the regular PNP process) or can stay in the pool without the 600 points.
Below is from their website:

Many Alberta provincial nominees are asking if they can use their Alberta nomination for Express Entry. An AINP certificate of nomination cannot be used for Express Entry. If you have created an Express Entry profile, do not indicate that you are an Alberta Provincial Nominee.

Just specific Express Entry PNP will give you 600 points. All old nominations are not eligible under EE. Alberta is not not participating in EE, but BC has a quota of 5500 nominations for 2015 but just 1350 of them will be good for EE, other ones will be regular PNP and you will have apply for PR in a regular way outside of EE.

Apply for the classic PNP It takes more time it's true. don't use the express Entry
