Hey guys,

Just wanted to share with you very strange thing. I got my PPR email Nov 26th. And on Nov 27th I got second email asking for a landing interview at my Local CiC scheduled in two weeks. (Saskatoon, SK). Gladly I did not mail my passport.

That's awesome. Did they give you a fixed date to come for interview or any day in next 2 weeks?

Means the same thing, if it is gc key or ecas. Both are linked to your same application.
Just 2 ways of looking at your application.

I agree they are both linked to my application, but 1 update in gc 3 in progress in ecas

My spouse was able to get the agent on the phone this morning. The agent said that we should expect the news mid January based on current applications.

Call centre agents don't have the information about approval dates. He just suggested that it can be approved in mid jan but I am 100% sure you will get a response in next couple of weeks

I have 2 dependants so maybe that why...

Do you guys think applicants got ghost update in this week will get PPR next year?
Because I think most of applicants who applied on August still in queue waiting for final review (DM) and waiting for PPR...

i think whoever is getting ghost update. they are going to send ppr in batch. like they did to july 7 to july 24 guys. i am pretty sure everyone will get ppr in 2 weeks

That is good, but aren't they have number of applicants limit in each batch? If the batches is full, need to wait another few weeks.

Just mailed my passport, 2 photos and annex A as requested.
Hope by the end of DeceberI'll get everything back.

I just have access to ECAS, not the GCKey. So it's in process since march or so .. looks like medicals are passed
