It's been 15 days that a guy got his ppr for the file received on 22nd Jun3, 2017
not really, only heard few people got ppr from 4th July(witch was the first bussiness day of the month) last week, I dont think they will process the application that fast. According the process time of June application and the information I know, I guess the process time for regular application is around 15month and 15 to 20 days(plus any other delay like server down yesterday), give or take.

Its funny to see different patterns of CIC issuing PPRs.

After July 7th, I saw on other threads, August 28th and now October 24th applicant get PPR. And I read from previous page, July 18th applicant too. Is it just pure luck? Lol

I think its just pure luck. I heard few people got their PPR in 11 month on the last thread here.
And, dont forget july 10-31 applicants got their MR really late

Yeah that thought makes me feel scared. If they count 5 months for background check from Medical passed date, then we have a long wait. BUT lets be positive and hope for the best.. If our immigration officer was slow earlier, I hope he is working hard now. :)

June/19/2017 applicant, Medical Passed since April/10/2018, No PPR yet o_O

When I applied, processing time was 16 months. When I contacted them recently, they said you should wait as your file is still within normal processing times i.e. 19 months.
What if when I reach 19 months, processing time changed to 20 months? Wait for 20 and then so on? LOL
Yeah, they are silly. The processing time doesn't have any meaning. We don't have any choice but wait.
I haven't called them up at all, but I will try to call if I don't receive PPR by the end of this week.
