Hello all!

I've read on few websites that getting a PNP from Saskatchewan is relatively easier when compared to other provinces.

My CRS score is 393. I'm currently in the USA on a H1-B. My NOC code is 2173 (Software Engineer). I have 3 years of full time work experience working as a Software Engineer in the USA.

I have a few questions on Saskatchewan's PNP.

1. I worked as a Teaching Assistant in grad school for 2 years straight. Does that also count as work experience in addition to the 3 years' worth industry experience I have as a Software Engineer? Currently, I have 58 points in the SINP points grid (with only work experience of me working as a Software Engineer).

2. In the Saskatchewan's PNP website, they said that they would be having draws in April, July and October 2018. How soon can I apply to SINP?

3. If I can add my work experience as a Teaching Assistant, my points would total to 60 and I'd meet the minimum requirement for SINP. What are the chances of getting a PNP from Saskatchewan?

I'm hoping someone could answer these questions of mine. It would be of great help.

Thank you!

You are not eligible for SINP. because you can't secure 60 points. They don't consider teaching experience.
Better you confirm it by sending an email to immigration@gov.sk.ca
You can use any email address.

Thanks for the reply!

I see in the IRCC website that if a person had worked as a Teaching Assistant in a graduate school, it can counted towards the work experience. This is very confusing now. Could you shed some light on this?

However, by your suggestion, I shall definitely email SINP.
