I will have to see what our lawyer says, he says it takes a while since im visa exempt. I am not sure if it will help, some people said they didn't do anything about it. I'll ask our lawyer- thanks for the advice though

** I talked to my parents and they believe we should just wait and do nothing about it. I used to be the positive one in the family, but after reading several stories online about how fast some people got their papers and how some got the pr and were not sure about actually moving to Canada just kills me, I also got really impatient. Itll be ok bro, soon... im still in process, lol so we can just wait... ive read lots of people who wrote cic after desicion made and they requested passports right away after email. So i think you should ask whats going on... cant hurt at all, desicion is made already in your case right?

you never know with them. I will ask my rep to call them, but I just hope everything will be well, and we wont get rejected.

Nothing, got dm almost 4 weeks ago. What should I do, my lawyer has not received anything yet if we get an answer I pray it is positive, as we have no medical or criminal issues...

You should be fine.

I waited almost 6 weeks to receive my passport request from the day the DM status was updated.

Worst of all, I waited 7 full weeks before I got my passport stamped with visa. Had to cancel a airline booking, which I had made to travel outside Canada.

Finally I got it.

Please be patient. Be cheerful. Good Luck
