how long it takes after file transfer to new delhi to get MR and PPR?
anywhere between 2-4 months. take it easy, you're still in very early stage, being impatient will only make your present difficult. If anything you wanna do, start your research on canada. Job/Business market, housing, life style, culture. only that will help you once you get your PR. Getting PR is different and having a standard life is different. So start focusing on your life in canada, it will help you immensly!

Hi mysteryocean,
Good day to you !

I have got APNP approval and have two option to apply for PR in APNP.

Option-1; Applying got New Delhi visa office which can be initiated immediately.
Option-2 Applying to Ottawa , CPP after travelling to Canada which will take Min 3 months .

Which option do you suggest ?
Getting PR early in my preference and at the same time I am worried about holding passport by ND visa office.
Kindly suggest.

VERY VERY VERY SOON
How are processing times calculated?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) calculates processing times from the day CIC receives an application to the day it makes a decision on the application.

When estimating how long you will wait to receive a temporary visa, you must also take into account up to 10 days of transit or delivery time on top of CIC's processing time. The time your application will spend travelling to and from CIC will vary depending on where you live.
