Hi to all

I sent my PNP application to buffalo at the end of September and just got to know from the bank that my bank draft has been en-cashed on the 27-Oct. I just want to know whats the trend these days i.e. when to expect AOR and MR. Will my file be transferred to Ottawa or not. any August/September 2011 applicants comments will be good.

Hi there,

We submitted our BC PNP late September 2011. Haven't heard anything back yet. Will update you when I know more.

Am hoping we'll get a medical request soon though!

Hello

I sent my aplpication in August, I received my AOR end of October.

I have three lines in E-Cas now.

Thankfully it looks like they're getting them processed in around 3 months.

My status hasn't changed online but given we submitted in the last week of September, I shouldn't expect anything until January!

Only took me two months and half to hear from VO after I applied, hopefully you will hear from them soon.

This is potentially a dumb question, but how/where do I update all my relevant dates of submission, receipt etc?

You mean on your profile ?

Yeah - I can always just update my replies with my status but I notice that you have it attached to your profile. I'm unable to see where I add this info under my profile tab.

You have to have at least 10 posts before you can edit your profile :)

Ohhh!! Thanks! I better get my 'post' on then!! ;)

Hi!

Happy New Year!!

Quick question for those who have had their passport requested...

Are you applying from inside Canada or externally?

Just wondering if I'm actually here in Vancouver, whether they will request my passport or just give me a letter to cross the border with...

I applied within Canada.

Regardless of your whereabouts, you have two options two submit your passport: in person or through the mail.

To submit the passport in person you will require a US Visa (unless you're from a visa-exempt country). There is no such thing as a "letter to cross the border"

Thanks Ethels.

I get so nervous about this process. I know we've been granted PNP and that means PR is more likely than not, but until I have it in my hand, I stress that something could change on the Govt's end and they don't grant it to us.

I guess I just need to breathe! ha
