Congrats Gina! Please how long did it take for your passport to be requested after medicals? i did my medicals last month and also paid fees for right of permanent residence for me and my spouse, but still haven't heard from accra, whats a rough estimate of the duration it took u?

There is no right rule to it. It is case by case issue. I had my Medicals done 13th November, 2013 with my family. I received PPR on 2nd April, 2014 after a prolong waiting. Some other persons had a shorter time. Some had longer than mine. It is case by case.

Hello Everyone,

Will like to ask a question from anyone that has gotten their PR from Ghana VO recently. My sister just receive her passport with Visa on it but the expiration date on it course for concern. Visa was issued on 9th April / Expiration Date May 2014 ?? That kind of wired because it doesnt even give them time to prepare. I already ask her to email the VO about it.

Just want to know if someone else have the same issue.

Pls Guys be prepared for an interview via phone call once your friend or family member has been interviewed. there is a fifty-fifty chance they will call u via telephone if u r not a family member. and pls once called keep ur answers straight to the point and it should be consistent with the person nominating u. the call is almost immediately after he has bin interviewed. so pls always be in contact with ur family members and frieds nominating u in manitoba.

Accra finally gave us our visa's May 9 which had been ready since April 7 but there was no email for pick up. I had to mail them twice before they finally replied May 1 for us to send courier for pick up. PPR was March 11. Decision made april 7. My timeline for the whole process is on MPNP application batch 2013, 2013 july applicant to CIO. May 2013 applicantions. Thanks God bless everyone. We all meet someday soon in manitoba.
