Hi Emperor,

Yes I am Nigerian but I work in Canada on a Work Permit. Please can anyone help me with my question with regards to sending a passport down to Accra to obtain a PR visa

Good evening Comrades,

Great!!! i can see many people getting to finish line in one way or the other.

just a quick question;

I understand that General Applicants who have distance relatives, friends or family can now apply online?

Inview of the above, only a close friend is needed to sign and endorse a Settlement Plan, Section 2 for a General Stream Applicant and thereafter forward same to MPNP office in Manitoba.

Is the applicant's close friend in Manitoba needs to review and endorse the Settlement Plan,Section 1 for online applicants.

What document does a General Stream Applicant needs to obtain from his/her close friend in an online application:
Eg: agreed that the applicant needs to prepare Settlement Plan and thereafter send to his/her close friend in Manitoba for review and endorsement.

Should the applicant include Settlement Plan 1 and 2 in her online application or just section 1 alone ?

Does a General Stream Applicant who wishes to apply online submit a Bank Statement?

Hello Naija people,

What's happening in Accra VO? My family and I had our medicals over a month ago but we have not heard from them.how long does it take between MR and PPR?

Hi guys!
Anybody, any progress? Our VO sleeping! :-X

Bekk_1,

Seems Accra visa office is on silent mode? This forum is too quiet.

ofonzo,
We have almost the same timeline. Even my med. done on 27-11-2012.
Did you sent your PCC and RPRF as well?
What is your e-Cas today?

Happy new month all. Pray for speedy PR processing by Accra IJN.

Guys what is the difference between In-Process and Application received Status in ECAS.

In-Process, is meaning that CIC start to review your application

Hi guys,

Please I need your advise on a thought that is running through my mind over my PR application.

I am an Ontario PNP application and I have received my CIO AOR late January 2013. I had indicated London VO on my form as I presently live in the UK. With the benefit on hindsight I should have chosen accra VO as it now appears accra VO will be relatively faster than London VO.

I now want to request that my file be transferred to Accra VO - any thoughts on how I can go about doing? Write to CIO NS or London VO? Any thoughts/experience here will be highly appreciated.

Bekk_1,

Great to hear that we share the same timeline, so we can benchmark progress. Yes I supplied PCC with my initial application to CIO in nova scotia and paid the RPRF in the first week of January. What timing can we expect for PPR?

Supa my correct person,

This is a brilliant idea, for once being in Nigeria or a Nigerian can work in your favor. I think your AOR has information about communication with CIC while your PR is being processed.refer to that document. Have you had any interaction with London VO thus far?if you have then you can send them a communication to that effect that you want your application moved to Accra office.

Ofonzo,
Absolutely we will truck the progress!
I'm expecting PPR not before 4-5 month after medical test. What is your opinion?
Cheers,

Emperor

In-Process would refer to completion of the paper screen process which confirms eligibility.

Application received refers to the fact that your application has been received from CIO by the visa office.

Has your case gone into in-process, and when? When you click on in-process, it shows the date the processing started.

Wishing you speedy processing :D
