@dejaito Hi, when you submitted your passport for your resident visa did they give a letter of confirmation for pr? Or any letter of such that states that you have been approved for Permanent residence? Because I am sending my passport next week to accra but just want to know if they will issue me that letter too after stamping my passport,i need the letter to change my sin card before I get the card. Await your reply. Thanks

hello seniors, good day...............I received my passport request yesterday from the canadian embassy. However I need you to advice me on something very important.......my PPR letter reads: The visa(s) will be valid until the expiry of your medical results on the 22nd of January, 2013 or until the expiry of your passports, whichever is earliest.

The date of the expiry of my medical results should be on the 22nd of January, 2014 and not on the 22nd of January, 2013 as stated in the email sent to me. I intend collecting my visa at the canadian high commission in accra on thursday the 22nd August 2013. Do you think i should proceed and when I get to accra notify them of the typo error and hope they make amends when the visa is issued? or do I just send them an email and hope they reply me soonest..............reason being that I am working with time. After thursday the 22nd of August 2013, I may not be chanced to go to accra again. Your swift response/advice will be highly appreciated

It is glaring that it si typographic erro I think you should reply the mail immediately to notify them of the error and proceed to ghana wch you have to point out the mistake dey did. No time bros,you have to hit the nail by the haed. Congrats anyway.

Klemzo I dnt really understand u,if I may get u proper.....passport request shd be after dey have reach conclusion on ur application. 2. The letter of approval will ever come b4 u apply to VO. So wen dey request for Passport you culd only track on DHL website to confirm delivery and the name of whoever that received ur parcel or you appear in person to collect your visa. I hope this helps. Klemzo ignore my 1st reply...I jst understand ur question. Yes dey will issue you a confirmation of permanent residence CPR this is d confirmation letter that you will give them @ the port of entry,ensure there are no error on that letter. I've collected too and it will come with ur passport. Goodluck

Hey guys! I just got an email today from Accra requesting for my passport so they can issue me my immigrant visa . Finally the Lord have answered my prayers ;D. I submitted my application February 2013 and did medical June.

A big congratulations Klemzo..................when do you intend going to Accra to pick up your visa?
