PMM , qorax and other seniors please help, confusion regarding some questions

Dear all,
please help me ......i am confused about the following question.please help and guide me?

Q-1- i applied for FSW in 2005 but due to the new law my application was closed but still i did not receive my fee back. i have reference number for that application but that is not UCI (in current format as CIC mentioned in guide 0007 that UCI is 8 digit) so my question is what should i write in UCI column? because if i write that Ref number ,starting with BXXX XXX XXX so it might cause problem as CIC may declare it "wrongly filled application" and return it? so what should i do? should i leave UCI column blank?

Q-2- for the additional family information FORM.......do they require to send Birth Certificates for Mother, Father, Brothers, Sisters (of principal Applicant and his/her spouse's)....? or we are just required to send BCs for PA, SPOUSE and Children..........?

Q-3- we must not staple CIC forms.....am i right? but my question is what about the other supporting documents? because some supporting documents contains more than i paper so if we don't staple that documents...that will create a problem for the Assessing Officer and might create confusion? so can we staple the supporting documents that are necessary?

1. Leave the UCI blank, the B number is the overseas file no. for your previous application.
2. No, only dependents included in the application, your spouse and children, if any.
3. No staples, use either paperclips or bulldog clips.

Dear PMM & other seniors,
Please guide me accordingly in the following situation.

I am going to apply as FSW. I am married and have 1 daughter 1.5 years old. my wife and daughter are not accompanying me, the reason is that my Parents are old and she will be looking after them for the next 2 - 3 years after my immigration to Canada. after that 2-3 years she will join me in Canada, because hopefully within 2-3 years i will be able to secure my Parent's visa. so in this scenario what are my chances........? questions in my mind are as under:

1- my wife is not accompanying me, (she will join me after 2 - 3 years when i will be able to secure a visa for my old parents) will this have any kind of negative impact on my application?

2- after PR, how long usually it takes for the Parent's Visa?

3- in Generic Application Form Q3 what should i enter? "how many family members including you are included in this application" so should i enter 1 or 3 (my wife and daughter are not accompanying me ) so.........?

1. No negative impact on your application. Your wife and child will still have to be included in the application (as non accompanying dependents) and pass the medical even though they are not accompanying you.

2. In order to sponsor your parents, you must meet the minimum income requirements for at least three straight years and that income must be from Canadian sources. You must provide tax returns to prove you meet the minimum income requirement. So you should assume it will be a minimum of 4 years after you become a PR before you can apply to sponsor your parents (this assumes you can get a job quickly that meets the minimum income requirements). I would assume it will take a minimum of 4 years (likely more) for your parents' PR application to be processed. So overall, I would say it will take an absolute minimum of 8 years for your parents to get PR after you become a PR (quite possibly more). It is definitely not realistic that your parents will have PR in 2-3 years.
