PMM please help. Filed transfered!

Dear Friends,

I applied for immigration as a SW, and got my AOR in NOV 2005 from Canadian High Commission in London. I came to Canada as a post graduate student in September 2006. They advised me that they transferred my file to Buffalo in first of August and this process would take minimum 8 weeks to be completed!

Do you think they process my file as new applicants that get their AOR in September 2007 in Buffalo, or they have a different policy for transferred files? Do you think my file will be landed at the end of queue for review ?! It would be appreciated if you give me some advise.

They usually slot it in with the files that would have been received in Buffalo on the same date as it was received in the London office, so Nov.2005 files.
