PLZ HELP US FOR STUDENT DEPENDENT VISA

Dear friends,

I am planning to travelling in Canada as a Student and also wish my wife join with me
Is dependent visa for Canada easily obtainable in Canada?
Can she work in Canada as a dependent or does she have to change his visa to work permit and work?
How much funds should i show in my account if i am planning to keep my and my wife's visa together?
Please help.

I am also planning to apply for a student visa next yr and my spouse to join me as a dependent. Please let me know how things have gone with you? I have been informed by various agencies that canada is not issuing student dependent visa. PLS ADVICE

Even I am in the same boat as you guys .... I have received a student visa and I am in Canada. I am looking to apply for my wife's dependant visa but most of people says there are very less chances of getting visa .... I am freaked out don't know what to do ... !!!! Hope for the best !!!!
