I don't know if your course is a mismatch but keep in mind that Visa chances are relatively low for students going to FDU. Its a very low grade school.

i need more suggestions...pls

If its for your loan, score and IELTS I would give it to you but FDU is a risky business mind you rupak is correct. Your course does sound related to the previous one so I don't see much of a problem there.

Hi,

It's true that Universities like FDU and Canadawest are low grade schools, but it doesn't mean they are not authorized to grant degrees. Yes, you can apply to any recognized school in Canada. Problem comes when your academics are poor and you are aspiring for a low grade school. With a good academics and profile (even if you are applying to a low grade school) you can expect a study visa.

But, still I am not sure what MAS in computer forensic stands for and how it relates to your previous studies.

Hi Friends,

Like many even i aspire to study in Canada,
Recently i contacted cacam consultants based in mumbai who gave me two universities name one being FDU and the other being university of new brunswick,
On further req, they told me that entry to other universities are very tough and its very difficult for students from india,
Here i had clearly communicated to them, that my purpose was not get a mere degree and come back to india but is to work there and obtain a PR after the completeion of the course afterall I would have to repay a loan of 16 lac odd,
After comparing the two courses i thought MAS (in HRM) would be a better option since its coming with the 3 year Work permit (as per their view),
request your worthy inputs since i dont want to waste my money on somethig that id not going to solve my problem,

My profile:
10th: 79%
12th: 67%
graduation (BSC in Information Tech in 2005): 75%
Having more than 3 years of work exp in HR..

accordingly pls suggest what are my chances of employment and PR

thnks and have a pleasant day....

Hi,

1. FDU is a very low grade school. Atleast for me, its NOT a good idea to waste Rs. 16 lacs for such an entity. Your academics are good, I would advise you to take GMAT and try for MBA in an above average business school.
2. Canam is interested ONLY in Rs. 20,000 consultancy fee from you + Rs. 30,000 commission from FDU. University of New Brunswick is an average University and it's really NOT difficult (as suggested by Canam) to get into it.
