I am so s orry to hear this friend. I think, they have kept you passport for so long. It is really unfair. They say one thing and do the reverse and that is the reason i hate this Canadian immigration. What if you had to travel abroad using your passport?. They are doing wrong things by keeping passport for 9 months.

Just be patient.
