My wife s pregnant, due date is sep-2012, and both are now in canada with WORK PERMIT. if my child born in canada it will be a canadian. one of my friend told me the rule changed and he saw the news in some where in net. but i could not find any thing ,can tell me the current situation please,,,

No baby born in Canada means he/she will be Canadian. One of my friend also working as work permit and get his wife as spousal sponsor and make baby. Now baby 4 month and got just 2 days ago already Canadian passport.

Important to note that the baby cannot sponsor the parents' immigration though. Must be 19 years of age or older.
