Is your husband the primary applicant for FSW? If so, then he doesn't qualify to apply. He needs to score a minimum of 6 in each IELTS cateogry to qualify to apply for FSW as the primary applicant.
Yes he's the principal applicant , that's why i took the exam also so that i'll give him addtl 5 points right?
If i give him addtl 5 points will he still eligible for fsw?

The principal applicant must score a minimum of 6 in each IELTS cateogry in order to qualify to apply for FSW. Your husband's score is far (far far) too low and the application will be automatically refused.
It doesn't matter that you will give him an additional 5 points.
If he wants to apply for FSW he needs to take IELTS again and achieve a better score.
No - like the other member said - the minimum score to qualify for FSW is a "6" in all four sections and if he doesn't get that, he is ineligible. Therefore, it doesn't matter what your score is, it wouldn't be counted.
Your score will matter once he has qualified by scoring at least a 6 in all four sections.

If your IELTS score are above 6 and if your occupation is within the eligible for FSW, why not replace your husband as the principal applicant. In that way, you will be able to use his points for adaptability (5pts for your husband IELTS score).
