pls any help or suggestion for my exit and landing?

hello to all of you...i am a cec inland and i just got my ppr last week and already sent my passport and just waiting for it to come back...i am already in canada and ircc told me that i need to call for and get an appointment or schedule for my landing but the problem it takes like a month for me to wait for it...

my friends told me that i can go to coutts and cross the boarder but the problems is its like 8 hours drive from here and to cut it short its not safe to drive in this kind of wheather right now...

is there any way for me to cross the boarder? im in edmonton alberta...

You either have to wait for the inland appointment or you will have to go down to a US/Canada land border, exist Canada and then re-enter. You can pick any border (e.g. Carway).

no You don't. Canadian border doesn't check if you have US Visa or not. I have crossed Niagara border several times to go to US and not even once Canadian border people have asked if I have US Visa or not.
