Hi peeps. Thanks for your help so far. Please I want to request for a letter of introduction from my employer but I do not know whom the letter should be addressed to. Should I ask my employer to address it to the High Commission or Deputy High Commission of Canada?

I await you candid advise.

Thank you.

A letter of introduction is nor issued to you by an employer but a prospect employee writing it to the prospective employer. A letter of introduction is like a cover page to a CV which states a brief detailed profile about you which is too informal to be include in a CV(just like an sop, it helps the prospective employer get to know you more)

An employment letter of introduction should be addressed to a prospective employer and not the VO.

Its just to prove to the VO on the authenticity of how you got your job. It should be attached to your CV

Thanks so much for your response, I really appreciate it. In my first attempt, my employer wrote a letter introducing me to the high commission as a staff of the university, where I work, stating that they should render their assistance to me...bla...bla.... I also got a letter of study leave. I was only wondering whom to address such letter to this time.
