Please share your time line experience regarding applications in Vienna office

Hi Folks,

I've applied for a TRV from Dessldorrf VFS on July 20, it was paper-based application and they took my passport as well although I'm living in the Netherlands.

The truck system is showing that the application is processing at Vienna Office and nothing updated since then, later on, I linked my application to the CIC but same, could you please share your experience about the time line for this office? also, anybody asks them to get his passport for an urgent travel requiremtns during this waiting period as I might need my passport very soon?

I applied for a study permit online application at June 17 and it is processed in Vienna office as well. No news from them till now although today is the first day in study!!!

I am Egyptian BTW

Yes, I should have had started my PhD yesterday!!!! I was living in Germany (somewhere near Kiel) but about 3 weeks ago I returned back home and still waiting! it is about 11 weeks so far and yet no response!
