Hello everyone

i didn't find a complete post about this on the forum that is why i created another more complete post on it
please reply

my application for a student visa got accepted couple of days ago after 20 weeks. i have sent my passport to the embassy to get the visa pasted on it.

due to the long processing time i lost my admission for winter 2018 and i differed it to fall 2018.
but the embassy never asked for my new admission letter and i also didn't send them anything as i feared it would slow down the application process.

i applied for the student visa with my winter admission from lakeheadU but i want to go to yorkU as it has better opportunities for me.

1-should i inform the embassy before my introductory letter (POE letter) is issued? wouldn't it delay the process? as it would prevent confusion for the officer at the airport.

2-should i give the new admission letter from yorkU to the officer at the airport while there's the name of lakeheadU on the POE letter? wouldn't it result in his confusion and my rejection and me getting deported?

3-how about i tell the officer at the airport that i want to go to lakeheadU and the day after i get inside Canada with a study permit for lakeheadU i go online and change my uni to yorkU? does the university accept a study permit in the name of another uni? how long does it take to get an approval from the embassy to change my university? is it done instantly?

which of the above do you recommend? and why?

PLEASE REPLY TO MY POST AS I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM AND IT WILL MEAN THE WORLD TO US.

thanks,
MAK
