It really depends on what language. If you go to a general professional translation company, they may charge you pretty high rates since they can accommodate any language.
What you can try instead, is just looking up the names of local lawyers who deal mainly with the language in question. i.e. if you are looking to translate from Chinese, look for Chinese lawyers that deal mainly with the Chinese community. Often lawyers will be able to do simple translation services for much cheaper for the local community they mainly work with.
For comparison, we had 3 pages of Korean documents translated/notarized for $100 total, by a local Korean lawyer.
