I am an IT professional in my home country (PH) with over 5yrs exp.

I currently have a job and will resign soon, because I will be traveling to canada as a tourist.

I will not look for a job there, but will visit to enjoy the scenery and tourist spots.

My questions are the ff.

1. Should I create an Express Entry profile already?

2. Can I apply for jobs online (LinkedIn, monster etc.)?

3. What is the whole process for applying express entry? I read lots of threads here and I am really confused about the process.

- I will create an Express Entry profile
- I will submit CV/profile to the Job Bank
- if a company wants me, then I now have a job offer (this will be an additional pts)
- if I have enough pts, then I will be included in the raffle
- if I was picked in the raffle, I can now proceed to apply for the immigration (PR)

is this correct?

Please help.

Not that easy my friend. Getting your educational credentials evaluated from WES, and if you are a foreign national your ability to speak two canadian national languages are the basic requirements for creating an express entry profile.

Before you think of making an express entry profile, you need to have both the evaluations in your hand because the certificate numbers and score are mandatory field to create an EE profile.
Suggest you to check your eligibility in Come to Canada tool in CIC website before you plan anything.

get your spouse's credentials evaluated and her language tests too because it will add points to your overall score and you stand higher in the pool.

I have tried the assessment tool, and it really requires the scores of the EILTS or any other language proficiency test, guess we need to take the EILTS first then create an EE profile.

Take your IELTS and get your WES evaluation done . Create a express entry profile and wait for the draw.
