Hello Guys,
I have a nephew who lost his dad 2 years ago and his below 18. And since then I have taken the responsibility of his education etc. But I am thinking of bringing him to Canada with his junior sister to continue their education here as surviving without their dad has been very difficult for them.
Can any of you advice me on the easiest way to bring them to Canada?
What will be their immigration status if I bring them here as minors.
What application form should I use to apply for their coming and under what class of immigration?
And what documents will I need to submit to support my application?
More resourceful information about this will be appreciated.
Thanks Guys.

If they are orphans, that is mother also deceased, you can sponsor them for PR under family class, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/family.asp

If their mother is still alive, you have two options.

One is applying for study permits for minors for them. As international students, you will have to pay their tuition. Their mother would have to give you custodianship of the children to show that you are the legal guardian in Canada. See info at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-minors.asp

The other option would be getting the mothers permission to adopt them in which case you can sponsor them for PR. However, you would have to convince immigration that the adoption is being done in the best interest of the children and not for the sole purpose of getting them PR as well as you have a parent/child relationship with these children.

The fastest way would probably be getting them study permits and thinking about adoption later if that is what all of you want.
