please help

hi em currently in USA on H1B and want to get info. on Canada immigration.I want to file for skilled worker only for me, once i get approved i will go back to us and finish my current contract job which will be done in 1-2 yrs after which i will be moving to Canada for good is that advisable to do so.
But i would like to apply for my wife and son later for visas so they can stay with me here in USA and come with me to Canada with me later .
how long will it take for them to get visas and do i have to go back before they can get visas???

1. Check if your NOC is in the current Ministerial list.
2. It is always advisable to apply with wife and children initially.
3. All of you can get visa together if u include them in your PR application.
4. Check on the 'Family Immigration Topic' for further information.
5. Once you land , they can land without you.
