I am engaged to a canadian citizen. I had a return ticked june 4th. Id like to stay here and also work. What are my options in this time frame? Please help.
Once you are married, your Canadian partner can sponsor you for permanent residency. If you apply for PR using the inland (within Canada) route, you can include an open work permit with the application. The open work permit application will be approved approximately 4 months after the full application package is received.I am engaged to a canadian citizen. I had a return ticked june 4th. In that case what I said above is your best option. Assuming you are in a serious long-term relationship, get married as soon as you can. Once you are married, submit the inland sponsorship application as soon as you can along with the open work permit. As said above, you'll get the open work permit approximately four months after you submit all of the paperwork.Age is 21.
Im from united states.
And we have lived together for less than a year.
It’s a big country, where are you ?Any idea of a place that we could get married at and how much it might be? Cheapest options would be great.
Cheap is fine, but I would say wear something nice. Doesn't have to be a wedding dress, but if the both of you turn up in jeans, t-shirts and sneakers, it may look like a marriage of convenience. As above, make sure your partner knows what they are signing up for by sponsoring you also.We are very serious and are happy together and want to stay together. We just are cheap i guess ya know? Some people are cheap about what they spend their money on. I am a female sorry for not specifying my bad. Thank you for helping me though. i really appreciate it.
